Behind-the-Scenes Time Lapse of Food Shoot in Beloit, Wis.
Creating one photo of Genuine Broaster Chicken family of products
We love, love, love visiting our long-time client Genuine Broaster Chicken in Beloit! Not only do we get to create some amazing food photography with great people, we get to eat the product. And. It. Is. Delicious!
The goal of our recent shoot was to create images of the company's new chicken sandwiches for menus and recipe guides as well as photos of the suite of Genuine Broaster Chicken products for advertising.
Food photography takes a lot of prep, styling and finessed lighting to create an appetizing photo that does the product justice. Genuine Broaster Chicken products are made using the company's own proprietary broasting process that's become the gold standard. It's crispy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside—and absolutely mouthwatering. So we need to convey that in every image!
We accomplished this by (among other things) controlling our light to create the desired highlights and shadows that really showcase the texture, color and substance of the food. Styling was done by seasoned food stylist Jim Rude of Rude on Food.
This video is a behind-the-scenes of one photo we made of the family of Genuine Broaster Chicken products.
Can't wait until our next shoot at Broasters!
